Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 2 (Maxim News): The Supreme Court today commenced hearing on a batch of petitions challenging the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution that bestowed special status on the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Justice Dhananjaya Yashwant Chandrachud, who took oath as the 50th Chief Justice of India (CJI) on Wednesday, said that his first priority would be the citizens of the country.
