Hyderabad, Dec 7 (Maxim News): With the heavy rains that fell on Tuesday and Wednesday under the influence of Cyclone Michaung in the state of Telangana, crops in 4.72 lakh acres were submerged in water, causing huge loss to rice farmers.

Hyderabad, Dec 5 (Maxim News): In the wake of the warnings from the Meteorological Department (IMD) that heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in Telangana for the next two days under the influence of Cyclone Michaung.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains for some parts of Telangana state in India. The rains are expected to occur on December 5 and 6.

Hyderabad Meteorological Center has announced a high alert and warned that heavy rains will occur in many districts of the State for the next five days.
