Take Responsibility For Protection Of Saplings: Dayakar Rao

Hyderabad, Feb.20 (Maxim News): Panchayat Raj minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao today instructed the local leaders and officials to take responsibility for protection of saplings planted in the state to mark 67th birthday of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Complete the process of promotions in the department and transfers and take remaining steps for smooth delivery of services. Dayakar Rao instructed for completing the works of the rest of nine Rythu Vedikas in the state.

He held a long meeting at his ministers quarters office here and asked for efforts to get arrears and funds of employment guarantee program from the Centre.

The Koti Vriksharchana program was taken up Sarpanches, MPTCs, MPPs, ZPTCs, ZP chairman and others should work for protecting these saplings with same spirit he said.

The minister asked a team of officers to visit Delhi to get the development funds and arrears. Complete pending payments to workers under employment guarantee program and get facelift to villages.

Various programs like Palke Pragati, dumping yard, Haritha Haram, Vaikunta Dhamas and facilities are being taken up for rural development, the minister stated. We have to ensure that the development works are continued in the villages to get Mission Bhagiratha water, through Panchayat and Mandal level he said.

Focus on clean and green and sanitation facilities in the villages. Provide farmers with rythu Vedikas and ensure greenery expansion. The minister stated that promotions and transfers are completed without waiting.

The government offers funds, mechanism for effective implementation of the programs. (Maxim News)
