Talasani Slams Oppn Parties For Talking Ill Of Welfare Budget
Hyderabad, March.9 (Maxim News): Talasani Srinivas Yadav slammed Opposition parties for making meaningless comments on State budget. While financial experts and intellectuals appreciated the budget 2020-21, the wily Opposition parties are making deliberate comments on it, they fumed.
Addressing mediapersons at TRS Legislature Party office here, the ministers accused the Congress and BJP leaders of indulging in misinformation campaign against the government deliberately. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao made six-months exercise for the people’s welfare budget, they claimed. “In spite of recession effect, the State government has introduced a very good budget for 2020-21 financial year. KCR’s efforts bore fruit with the introduction of the best budget for all the categories”, the ministers claimed.
The three ministers took exception to the Congress and the BJP leaders for mud slinging on the budget. The Rs 1.82-lakh-crore budget presented presented by Finance Minister T Harish Rao and V Prashanth Reddy in the Assembly and the Council respectively are for continuous development, they added.
Stating that priority was offered to the BCs in 70 years, the ministers said the budget is for all. The KCR government presented the budget for benefit of all the sections in the society, they added. Though several States talk of social reformer Mahatma Jyothi Rao Phule, only Telangana was following his ideals of all-round development of BCs and downtrodden, they added.
Claiming that the State government has allocated highest-ever funds for welfare of the Backward Classes, Talasani ridiculed the Opposition parties for raising a hue and cry over building of two-bedroom houses. Stating that the two-bedroom houses can’t be built the very next day after announcement, Talasani said they won’t bark like dogs like the Opposition leaders. He also advised the Congress and BJP leaders to change their hostile attitude against the government and give constructive suggestions and try to earn goodwill of the masses. (Maxim News)
