Tamilisai Offers Bonam to Goddess Nalla Pochamma in Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad, July 23 (Maxim News): Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan offered traditional Bonam and took part in the Ashadamasam Bonalu celebrations at the Raj Bhavan temple, here, on Saturday.

Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, carrying the traditional bonam on her head, came in a procession joined by the Raj Bhavan pariwar members from her official residence to the temple. The Governor offered Bonam to the presiding deity Nalla Pochamma Thalli at the Raj Bhavan temple and performed puja.

The Raj Bhavan wore a festive look, while the Telangana Bonalu folk songs rented the air inside the sprawling Raj Bhavan complex. “Due to the divine blessings of Goddess Mahankali, the Covid-19 pandemic was largely contained.
