TDP Provided Food Security To The Poor 40 Years Ago: Chandrababu Naidu
Hyderabad, Feb 26 (Maxim News): The National President of Telugu Desam Party, (TDP) Chandrababu Naidu has made key comments at the Inti-Intiki Telugu Desam Programme said that the credit goes to the TDP for making every poor person eat rice in the days when rice is considered as festival and Swami Buvva (Rich man food).
He said that the TDP has provided Food Security to poor families 40 years ago in the Telugu States. These comments of Chandrababu’s become a topic of discussion in the state. The political leaders are of the view that these comments are likely to have a more positive impact on the state of Telangana, as it is real fact that it was the late N.T.Rama Rao who was the Chief Minister for the first time after defeating the then Congress government made a good impact on the poor people in those days by getting rice at Rs. 2 a kg. This scheme of providing rice to poor families at a cheaper rate has become the flagship program for the TDP, in those days.
Chandrababu Naidu had started Telugu Desam Program from door to door in Telangana. Later, he distributed 1000 pamphlets, pen books, and kits containing TDP’s development in Telangana to the party leaders and workers.
Giving the Bharat Ratna award to NTR is a matter of pride for India, Chandrababu appealed to the Center to fulfill the demand of the Telugu people. On March 29, Chandrababu announced that the formation day of the Telugu Desam Party will be held here, and requested that the event be a huge success.
He said that TDP’s mission is to create wealth, provide employment and develop. He said that TDP works for Telugu people wherever they are. He proudly said that TDP is the reason for wealth creation in Telangana. Chandrababu commented that the party promoted the poor as leaders in Telugu Desam. (Maxim News)
