Teachers Posting Counseling Postponed

Hyderabad, Oct 15 (Maxim News): The new teachers who have secured government teaching jobs and are waiting for the posting got a huge shock. The DSC 2024 posting counseling process scheduled to be held today has been postponed. The state education department has released a statement that the new counseling dates will be announced soon.

As per the merit list, it has been decided to give postings to the newly elected teachers wherever they want. Those who took the posting today were supposed to join the school on the 16th of this month, but the posting process has been postponed.

Before the Dussehra festival, the new teachers got an unexpected shock as they said that they were joining from the 16th of this month.  They are worried as the posting process gets postponed. They are panicking as they get postponed all at once without giving any reason.

However, the officials of the state higher education department say that the postponement is due to some reasons. But the candidates who had hoped that they would teach the children from tomorrow are left disappointed.

On the 9th of this month, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy presented the appointment documents to the new teachers at the LB Stadium. The Education Department has selected candidates for 10,006 posts out of a total of 11,062 teacher posts. All of them received appointment papers that day. The process of posting is scheduled to be held today.

Meanwhile, due to court cases and other issues, 1056 Special Educators and PET posts have not yet been filled, the Education Department has revealed.

On March 1, this year, the government released the DSC notification for filling up 11,062 teacher posts. DSC exams were completed from July 18 to August 5 and 2.45 lakh candidates wrote the exams. But Revanth Sarkar has set a new record by announcing the results within 56 days of the end of the exams.
