Telangana Assembly Approves Bhu Bharati Bill
Hyderabad, Dec 20 (Maxim News): The Bhu Bharati Bill – 2024 has been approved in the Telangana Assembly. Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy introduced the bill.

Ponguleti said that he feels fortunate to have the opportunity to introduce the Bhu Bharati Bill. He said that tears of joy are coming as the bill is being approved. The Minster, who introduced the Bhu Bharati Bill in the House, requested the Speaker to pass the bill.
The Speaker announced that the members approved it. Later, the Speaker adjourned the Assembly to Saturday, December 21.
During the discussion on the Bhu Bharati Bill, CM Revaznth Reddy slammed the previous BRS government. He said that the Dharani portal was not brought by KCR. He said that this Dharani was brought to Odisha in 2010. He said that the CAG had concluded that there were flaws in the Dharani. He said that the CAG had made a mistake in 2014 itself that the Dharani was handed over to an unqualified company. He questionned KCR, who brought the Dharani to Telangana even after the CAG had found it to be wrong.

CM Revanth said that a new law is being brought to replace the Dharani Act. He said that details of 1.52 crore acres of land will be preserved through the new law. He said that the rights of land owners will be protected. He said that the main opposition party had violated the rules. He said that BRS has conspired to obstruct the discussion. (Maxim News)
