Hyderabad, Oct 24 (Maxim News): In the wake of the Assembly Elections in Telangana, the Election Commission is paying special attention to every aspect, mainly focused on money transfers.

Already crores of rupees of money have been seized during police checks. The latest focus is on digital payments. The Election Commission has taken serious action on the issue of sending money to voters through Google Pay and Phone Pay.  As part of this, the Election Commission monitored the accounts of all political parties as well as personal accounts.

As part of this, the Election Commission is holding a series of meetings with the respective banks.  The Election Commission has ordered to provide a list of accounts where suspicious and large amounts of cash are circulating on a daily basis.  It is suggested that the list should be sent to the District election Officer as well as the Chief Electoral Officer across the state.

It has mainly kept an eye on accounts where large amounts of money are transferred from a single account. (Maxim News)
