Telangana Assembly sessions | Hyderabad, Jan 7 (Maxim News): Telangana Assembly sessions were adjourned indefinitely after five days of extended proceedings, during which the House passed several key Bills.

The Telangana Assembly sessions continued for five days and involved in depth debates on multiple subjects.

Members discussed issues for a total of 40 hours and 45 minutes. During this period, the Assembly approved several important Bills related to urban governance, education, taxation, and public employment.

Key Bills passed during Telangana Assembly sessions

Among the major legislations passed was the Telangana Municipalities Fourth Amendment Bill. The House also cleared the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Amendment Bill and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Second Amendment Bill.

These Bills relate to changes in municipal administration and governance in urban areas, including Hyderabad.

The Assembly also approved the Telangana Private Universities Establishment and Regulation Bill. This Bill focuses on the setting up and regulation of private universities in the state.

Meanwhile, members also passed the Telangana Motor Vehicles Taxation Amendment Bill, which deals with changes to tax provisions related to motor vehicles.

In addition, the House approved the Telangana Regulation of Appointments to Public Service and Rationalisation of Staff Pattern Pay Structure Bill.

The Telangana Public Employment Amendment Bill was also among the legislations that received Assembly approval. These Bills are linked to public service appointments and employment structures within the state.
