Telangana: Bandh In Bhadrachalam Over Division Into 3 Gram Panchayats

Bhadrachalam, Dec 19 (Maxim News): Bhadrachalam District president of Congress and MLA Podem Veeraiah participated in the bandh in Bhadrachalam against the State government’s move to divide Bhadrachalam into three Panchayats.

Speaking on this occasion, the MLA said that the days of Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has come, who is trying to tarnish the reputation of Bhadrachalam and also said that the time has come to teach the lesson to KCR which will being him to senses.

He demanded the abolition of the division of Bhadrachalam Panchayat into three panchayats, He alleged that KCR failed to stop the merger of the five villages in Andhra again in Telangana again trying to tarnish the image of Bhadrachalam. He also that Bhadrachalam should continue as a major Panchayat, he said that KCR is negligent towards Bhadrachalam.

he also demanded the BRS government to release Rs. 1,000 crores for flood victims in the temple town which was announced by KCR. He alleged that BRS government had failed to develop Bhadrachalam and had not spent a single rupee for the development of the temple in the last eight years. It has been more than four months since the Chief Minister made the announcement yet to fulfill its promise. (Maxim News)
