Telangana Congress holds massive rally in Hyderabad as ED questions Sonia Gandhi
Hyderabad, July 12: Congress party has launched a protest movement in Hyderabad in response to Enforcement Directorate investigators in Delhi looking into AICC chief Sonia Gandhi. Large crowds marched from the Indira Gandhi statue on Necklace Road to the Enforcement Directorate office in Basheerbagh under the direction of TPCC President Revanth Reddy.
They later held a dharna outside the ED office. Many politicians claimed that the federal government was acting partisan against the Congress party in this particular case. Revanth Reddy expressed his worry over the fraudulently filed lawsuits and the harassment of Sonia Gandhi.
MLC Jeevan Reddy, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, MLAs, and MPs will all take part in this program. On Thursday, July 21, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi left their Delhi home at 11.30 am for the ED probe. The numerous Congress supporters who have already arrived there are yelling insults at the BJP administration and Narendra Modi.
This topic was also discussed in debates in both Houses of Parliament. The opposition members began to voice their displeasure when the Lok Sabha convened over the federal government’s political conduct toward them. In the disorderly atmosphere, the Speaker adjourned the House.
