Telangana Covid Update: 2,009 Cases, 10 Deaths Reported On Thursday

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 2,009 new Covid-19 infections and 10 fatalities on Thursday, taking the overall toll to 1145 and the cumulative number of cases so far to 1,95,609. As on Thursday, the total active Covid-19 cases in TS are 28,620 out of which 23,372 are in home and institutional isolation.

A total of 2,437 persons recovered by Thursday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 1,65,844 with a recovery rate of 84.78 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 83.50 percent.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, 54,098 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 1,151 samples are awaited. So far, 31,04,542 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include 18 from Adilabad, 77 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 293 from areas under the GHMC, 32 from Jagtiyal, 26 from Jangaon, 23 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 25 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 63 from Kamareddy, 114 from Karimnagar, 104 from Khammam, 19 from Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, 31 from Mahabubnagar, 43 from Mahabubabad, 33 each from Mancherial, 27 from Medak, 173 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 19 from Mulugu, 40 from Nagarkurnool, 109 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, 26 from Nirmal, 63 from Nizamabad, 29 from Peddapally, 52 from Rajanna Siricilla, 171 from Rangareddy, 55 from Sangareddy, 60 from Siddipet, 77 from Suryapet, 23 from Vikarabad, 39 from Wanaparthy, 31 from Warangal Rural, 72 from Warangal Urban and 34 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
