Telangana: Degree Admissions To Start By July

The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) is likely to release a notification for admissions into various degree courses in Telangana in the next few days.

Prof R Limbadri, DOST convenor said that the admissions will be held online through Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) and classes are likely to get commenced by September 1. The TSCHE is planning to answer the students’ queries through Whatsapp this year and will also add image processing feature to its web portal.

The notification for the admissions of degree courses will be released by TSCHE on DOST portal — dost.cgg.gov.in by the end of this month.

With the delay in the academic year, R Limabdri said that they were planning to reduce the holidays in the academic year 2020-21. However, the professor clarified that they will be no reduction in syllabus or credits for degree courses and said that a detailed scheduled will be released soon.

Meanwhile, all the entrance exams in the state such as EAMCET, ECET, ICET will be held as per schedule.
