The Quthbullapur Excise District will now function through eight excise stations. These include Medchal, Quthbullapur, Kompally, Kukatpally, Balanagar, and the three newly established stations at Nizampet, Madhapur, and Aliyabad.

The Nizampet Excise Station will cover Nizampet, Bachupally, Bhandari Layout, and Pragathi Nagar. Meanwhile, the Madhapur Excise Station will oversee Bahadurpally, Dundigal, Hi Tech City, Madhapur, Izzatnagar, Matrushree Nagar, and surrounding areas. The newly created Aliyabad Excise Station will cover Aliyabad, Ellampet, and the Medchal Malkajgiri municipal areas of Mooduchinthalapally.

Officials said the reorganisation will improve field level administration and strengthen monitoring across the rapidly expanding urban region. Moreover, clearly defined municipal ward jurisdictions will help the department curb the illegal transportation and sale of liquor more effectively.
