Telangana Film Development Corporation Invites Entries For Gaddar Film Awards

Hyderabad, Mar 11 (Maxim News): Telangana Film Development Corporation invites entries for Gaddar Film Awards in different categories, feature films on national Integration, Children’s film, Environment/Heritage/History Debut Feature Film, and Animated Film. Social Impact Film, Documentary Films Short Films Other Categories: Books & Analytical Essays on Telugu Cinema Individual Awards for Artists & Technicians.

The Telangana state government has issued an official order today finalizing the guidelines for the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards.  As per the commitment made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government has released G.O Ms. No. 25 today for the awards.  The government has also decided to introduce special awards in honor of legendary figures Paidi Jayaraj and Kanta Rao, who made significant contributions to Telangana cinema.  Additionally, the M.Prabhakar Reddy Popular Film Award will continue as per existing tradition.  Since the previous Telangana government did not announce film awards from 2014 to 2023, the government has decided to honor one outstanding film per year for those years.  

Applications for the Gaddar Film Awards will be available from march 13, 2025, at the Telangana Film Development Corporation office located in AC Guards, Hyderabad.  An official statement confirmed these details, encouraging film makers and industry professionals to submit their entries.  (Maxim News)
