Warangal, June 2: Telangana State Formation Day was celebrated at Kila Warangal Khushmahal on Monday with a flag hoisting and official tributes.
State Minister Konda Surekha was the chief guest. She received a police salute and unfurled the state flag. Collector Dr. Satya Sharada and DCP Ankit Kumaroffered floral tributes at the Martyrs’ Stupa. They paid homage to the fallen.
Officials outlined the district progress message to attendees. Cultural programs followed the formal rites.
The event concluded with distribution of department assets. The minister, District Collector, DFO and Additional Collector inspected stalls set up by various departments.
