Telangana Govt Asks Companies For Subsidy Cement
Hyderabad, June 11 (Maxim News): Ministers, KT Rama Rao and V Prashant Reddy today asked cement companies to offer subsidy price on cement bags for the government to build houses for the poor people.
At a meeting with a team of the cement companies, the ministers that the state government is continuing two bed room housing works.
Related construction is going on for the flagship housing scheme meant for the poor people they said.
KTR said that they plan to provide employment to youth in Huzur nagar segment. For this we have to set up a training unit of NAC, KTR said.
The government is to continue the two bedroom housing scheme for another three years and other schemes require larger quantities of the cement.
Since the two bedroom houses are going to complete in three years. the government needs more cement for the purpose.
The cement companies team has reportedly agreed to the request of the government. They are likely to inform about the reduction if amount over bag very soon. The ministers asked them to offer each bag of cement per Rs 230. (Maxim News)
