Telangana Govt Inaugurates 2.5 MW Power Plant At Ashwaraopet

Kothagudem/Hyderabad(Maxim News): Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Tummala Nageshwara Rao and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy inaugurated the 2.5 MegaWatt power plant but for Rs. 36.5 crores at Aswaraopet Palm Oil factory in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that the opening of the power plant is a Dussehra gift, it is a joyous occasion for the first Vijayadashami festival after the Indiramma Rajyam Congress party came to power. He promised to stand by the government so that the people of the state get success. It has been revealed that efforts are being made to produce 20,000 megawatts of green power in Telangana in the next five years. He said a solar project would be started by taking two villages as pilot projects in the Aswaraopet area.

Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao said that permission has been received for palm oil cultivation in all districts except Hyderabad. He said that the loan waiver will be completed by December 9, and The scheme will be implemented for crop insurance.

He said, “In 1986 late NTR planted the sapling in Pedavegi,  After 1990, we planted it in Telangana.  We will focus on keeping the price of Rs. 20,000 per ton.  If necessary, we will go to the center with the heads of the states, next month, another Rs.13 hundred will increase.  Let’s plan to get more than Rs. 20,000 under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Minister Thummala addressed the palm oil farmers.  (Maxim News)
