Advisor to Telangana government AK Goel on Wednesday said imparting training to government employees in districts, mandals and villages was the need of the hour in order to achieve multifaceted development.
Goel inaugurated the second phase of e-learning training programme for government employees at Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development (MCR HRD) Institute. Speaking on the occasion, he underlined the pressing need for extensive use of information and communication technology (ICT) to train over three lakh employees and 13 lakh teachers from across the State.
The second phase of the programme will cover 12 modules on soft skills and three domain-specific modules on RTI, office procedures, finance, accounts for government employees sponsored by Department of Personnel, Training, Government of India, he said.
