Telangana Govt to Offer Loans Up to ₹3 Lakh for Unemployed Youth from Minority, SC, ST & BC Communities – Applications Open from March 17

Hyderabad, March 16 (Maxim News): The Telangana government has announced a self-employment loan scheme for unemployed youth belonging to Minority, SC, ST, and BC communities under the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam initiative. Applications will be accepted from March 17 to April 5.

Application & Loan Sanction Process

  • Applications will be reviewed from April 6 to May 31.
  • Selected beneficiaries will receive loan sanctions on Telangana Formation Day.
  • The government has allocated ₹6,000 crore to benefit 5 lakh unemployed youth.

Loan Categories & Subsidies

Under this scheme, loans of up to ₹3 lakh will be provided with government subsidies in three categories:

  • Category 1: ₹1 lakh loan with 80% subsidy
  • Category 2: ₹2 lakh loan with 70% subsidy
  • Category 3: ₹3 lakh loan with 60% subsidy

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka held a review meeting with officials to finalize the scheme guidelines. The initiative aims to empower unemployed youth by supporting self-employment and entrepreneurship. (Maxim News)
