Telangana Group 1 Recruitment | Hyderabad, Jan. 22: The long standing uncertainty over Telangana Group 1 recruitment is set to end today, with the High Court Division Bench scheduled to deliver its final verdict on Group 1 mains results and appointments.
The judgment has generated intense anticipation among 562 selected candidates already appointed, as well as among candidates who challenged the recruitment process.

Earlier, several candidates approached the High Court alleging irregularities in the conduct of the Group 1 examination.
They cited flaws in evaluation, biometric verification, and OMR sheet handling. After hearing the petitions, a single judge bench cancelled the Group 1 results and ordered re evaluation or a fresh examination if required. The court also imposed a stay on appointments.

Subsequently, the Telangana Public Service Commission and selected candidates challenged the single bench order before the Division Bench.
The Chief Justice led bench later lifted the stay through interim orders. Following this, the government issued appointment orders to 562 selected candidates, clarifying that the appointments would be subject to the final court verdict.
The final judgment will determine whether the appointments stand or whether the court will accept allegations related to evaluation and biometric procedures. The decision is expected to have a direct impact on the careers of the selected candidates.
