Telangana HCA Scam: TCA Files Complaint With CID Againt KTR, Kavitha
Hyderabad, July 17 (Maxim News): The Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) has filed a complaint with the CID against former Minister KTR, MLC Kavitha, and a few others in connection with irregularities in the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).
TCA officials met CID Chief Charu Sinha and submitted a formal complaint. They alleged that KTR and Kavitha were behind the irregularities in the HCA.
The TCA mentioned that after Jaganmohan Rao won the HCA presidential election, he said, “I dedicate my victory to KTR, Kavitha, and Harish Rao.”
The association also asked CID to investigate other alleged illegalities, including the involvement of John Manoj, Vijayanand, Purushottam Agarwal, Surender Agarwal, and Vanka Pratap.
The complaint states that Jaganmohan Rao became HCA president with political backing during the BRS regime, and urged CID to look into the involvement of non-cricket-related political leaders. (Maxim News)
