Telangana: Heavy Rain Forecast; Yellow and Orange Warnings Issued
Telangana | Hyderabad, August 12: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in several districts of Telangana on Tuesday. Yellow alerts have been issued for Adilabad, Khammam, Warangal, and Jagtial districts.
The IMD has also warned of a potential low-pressure area forming over the west-central Bay of Bengal, which could bring very heavy rainfall to multiple districts, particularly in North Telangana, for four consecutive days starting Wednesday.

In view of this, orange warnings have been issued for several regions.
On Monday, the highest rainfall in the state was recorded in Gurrampodu mandal of Nalgonda district at 6.6 cm, followed by Gudipalli mandal at 6.5 cm, and Tallapalli in Shabad mandal of Rangareddy district at 6.4 cm.
Moderate rainfall was also reported in parts of Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Mancherial, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Jangaon, Warangal, Nirmal, and Karimnagar districts.
