Telangana Highlights Investment Potential to French Delegation; Sridhar Babu Showcases Vision for Future City
Hyderabad, June 24 (Maxim News): Telangana continues to position itself as a global investment hub, with Minister for Information Technology and Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu underscoring the state’s commitment to fostering Indo-French collaborations. Addressing a high-level roundtable organized by the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) on Tuesday at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat, the Minister invited French businesses to actively participate in Telangana’s growth story.
The meeting saw senior government officials and a delegation of leading French companies explore investment opportunities in engineering, artificial intelligence (AI), clean energy, manufacturing, and other high-potential sectors.
Sridhar Babu urged IFCCI members to engage in the Future City project, a visionary 30,000-acre global innovation hub planned under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. “Future City represents Telangana’s ambition to become a global leader in innovation, sustainability, and advanced infrastructure,” he said, highlighting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s forward-looking vision.
The Minister noted that Telangana has attracted over ₹3 lakh crore in investments in just 18 months. “Hyderabad added 70 new Global Capability Centres (GCCs) last year, reflecting our investor-friendly policies and efficient governance,” he added.
He further shared that Telangana is integrating AI into the TG-iPASS industrial approval system to ensure faster, more transparent clearances, enhancing the ease of doing business.
Major French companies like Sanofi, Monin, Safran, Capgemini, Dassault, Teleperformance, and Opella Healthcare have already established operations in Telangana, spanning aerospace, IT, pharma, and food processing.
Sridhar Babu encouraged French firms to explore emerging sectors such as:
- Clean energy and green mobility
- Smart healthcare and digital governance
- Future-ready education
- Sustainable manufacturing
- Agri-innovation
- Emerging technologies
“Our partnership with France is not just about investment—it’s about co-creating a future powered by technology and sustainability,” Sridhar Babu emphasized.
The French delegation featured representatives from Monin India, Opella Healthcare, Safran Aircraft Engine Services India, Sanofi India, Teleperformance, Ziegler Aerospace, and Var Electrochem Pvt. Ltd.
The Telangana government reaffirmed its full support for Indo-French economic ties, promising smooth facilitation of investments and strategic partnerships.
