Telangana Home Dept Pushes For 100% Central Scheme Fund Usage

Hyderabad, Feb. 28 (Maxim News): CV Anand, Special Chief Secretary of the Telangana Home Department, chaired a high-level review meeting today. Anand met all Heads of Departments (HODs) to assess progress on key administrative reforms.

The review focused on the 100 percent utilisation of Central Government funds under various schemes. Anand stressed that departments must ensure that no allocated funds remain unused. According to officials, proper monitoring and timely implementation are essential to avoid delays.

In addition, the meeting reviewed the shifting of offices from private buildings to government-owned premises. This move aims to reduce rental expenditure and improve administrative efficiency.

Furthermore, Anand examined the progress of field visits by senior officers. 

CV Anand emphasised that regular ground-level inspections help in better implementation of schemes and quicker resolution of issues.

Another key agenda item was the implementation of the e-office system. Anand directed departments to accelerate digital adoption.

The e-office initiative is expected to improve transparency, speed up file movement, and reduce paperwork.

Officials said these measures follow the directions issued by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in December last year.

The Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had instructed departments to strengthen governance standards and ensure better service delivery.
