Telangana IAS Association Condemns Media on Female Office
Telangana IAS Association | Hyderabad, Jan. 10 (Maxim News): The Telangana IAS Officers Association strongly condemned media reports targeting a female IAS officer.
It labeled the stories baseless and malicious. The association demanded an apology from the news channel.
A prominent Telugu news channel aired a report on a Telangana cadre female IAS officer and a minister. The content sparked outrage. Association President K. Ramakrishna Rao and Secretary Jayesh Ranjan issued a statement.
Telangana IAS Association Demands Immediate Apology
The association called the report harassment equivalent to defamation. It rejected claims of “comfortable postings” for female IAS officers as false.
Such stories undermine civil services integrity, it added. They aim to create distrust in postings and transfers.
Other media outlets republished the damaging content. The association urged all media to avoid irresponsible journalism. It views this as an attack on civil servants’ morale, autonomy, and dignity. Media must follow ethical standards.
The group opposes media trials and rumor-mongering as news. It warned of legal action against those causing reputational harm. Officials work with integrity, the statement emphasized.
