She said a total budget of ₹14 lakh crore was presented, with ₹12 lakh crore spent, including ₹1.89 lakh crore on irrigation projects.

Despite this, she asked why houses were not provided to the poor during that period. She further alleged that she was expelled from the party for raising public issues.

Kavitha announced that Telangana Jagruti would formally enter electoral politics. She said the platform would work for youth, women, and democratic voices. She stated that left leaders, civil rights activists, and like minded groups were welcome to join the initiative. She added that Telangana Jagruti would contest future elections and return to the legislature with a public mandate.
