Telangana Panchayat Elections: Third Phase Of Polling Ends
Hyderabad, Dec 17 (Maxim News): Voting for the third phase of Telangana Panchayat elections has ended. The polling which began at 7 am on Wednesday, continued till 1 pm. Those in the queue were given the opportunity to vote. The counting of votes will begin at 2 pm.
First, the ward seats will be counted, followed by the sarpanch votes. After the sarpanch results are announced the sub-sarpanch election will be held. A meeting will be held with the ward members and the sub-sarpanch election will be held. In the third phase elections were held for a total of 3,752 sarpanch and 28,410 ward seats. (Maxim News)
