Telangana Police Stop AP MLA at Pulichintala
Hyderabad, July 11 (Maxim News): Andhra Pradesh MLA and government Whip, S Udayabhanu was prevented from at Pulichintala project by Telangana police. He came from Vijayawada to Pulichintala site at AP and Telangana border near Jaggaiahpet. Telangana police did not allow him to visit the power production site as there was no permission. The MLA argued with the police for stopping him.
He expressed displeasure that the Telangana was using waters against norms. Before Kharif season begins, the government using water for power generation. Water is going waste into the sea without using for crops he said. He alleged that the Telangana government was ignoring AP Bifurcation norms and Bachawat tribunal allocations.
Udayabhanu accused the Telangana Government of violating the irrigation norms. It will cause a huge loss to the AP state and we urge to stop power generation, he said. He also alleged that the government is constructing the projects without any permission.
The AP Government is objecting to the power generation in Telangana and asking the Centre for stopping it. However the Telangana government is claiming that the power generation is going on as per norms and no violations. (Maxim News)
