Telangana: Rains claim 5 lives in state

Hyderabad, Aug.30 (Maxim News): The incessant rains which have been lashing the different parts of the state have claimed five lives at different places. In one incident that took place at Kurraram tank of Rajapeta village from Alair Assembly constituency of Yadadri Bhongir district, Two women were washed away in the powerful flow of the water of the tank.

According to the information revealed by local people the two women in were going towards Kurraram from Itukalapally when the incident took place. They have been identified as Sindhuja and Bindu. The police have launched search operation to locate the bodies of the women.

In another incident, a car of marriage party was swept away due to the force of water in Thimmapur canal of Madpally Mandal from Vikarabad district. Two people including a bride died in the incident. The dead bodies of victims like the bride Pravalika, Swetha, have been fished out from the canal. The search is on to find out eight year old Ishant reddy, who was swept away in the flow of the water.

However, the i, his sister and car driver Raghavender Reddy escaped from the incident . Nawaz Reddy married Pravalika on August 26 . He was returning from Mominpeta in a car along with his wife and family members when the tragic indie took place. (Maxim News)
