Telangana Records 3,308 New Covid-19 Cases, 12 Deaths

Hyderabad, May 22: Telangana has reported 3,308 new Covid-19 infections and 21 fatalities on Saturday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,106 and the total number of positive cases to 5,51,035.
The number of active cases in Telangana as on Saturday evening stood at 42,959. Between Friday and Saturday, authorities conducted 63,120 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,765 samples were awaited.
On Saturday, 4,723 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 91.64 per cent. So far, a total of 1.44 crore Covid tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,51,035 have tested positive and 5,04,970 persons have recovered.
The Covid positive cases reported from the districts included from 17 Adilabad, 92 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 513 from areas under GHMC, 91 from Jagitial, 36 from Jangaon, 42 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 61 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 31 from Kamareddy, 161 from Karimnagar, 228 from Khammam, 24 from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, 116 from Mahabubnagar, 100 from Mahabubabad, 84 from Mancherial, 48 from Medak, 203 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 49 from Mulugu, 90 from Nagarkurnool, 98 from Nalgonda, 25 from Narayanpet, 16 from Nirmal, 60 from Nizamabad, 101 from Peddapalli, 30 from Rajanna Sircilla, 226 from Rangareddy, 120 from Sangareddy, 110 from Siddipet, 73 from Suryapet, 92 from Vikarabad, 83 from Wanaparthy, 81 from Warangal Rural, 116 from Warangal Urban and 91 from Yadadri Bhongir.
