Telangana SSC Question Paper Leak: Police Intensify Investigation
Nalgonda/Hyderabad, Mar 24 (Maxim News): The police have stepped up their investigation into the leak of the 10th class Telugu question paper that occurred on March 21 at Nakrekal Gurukul School. The paper went viral on social media shortly after the exam began.
Officials from the Nalgonda district police and the education department have launched a detailed probe. As a result, two officials—Chief Superintendent Gopal and Departmental Officer Rammohan Reddy—have been removed from duty. Additionally, TGT Sudharani, who was on invigilation duty at the exam center, has been suspended.
So far, six people have been arrested in connection with the leak, including a student and a Xerox center manager. Reports suggest that the student scaled a wall to access the exam room and took a photo of the question paper through a window while another student was writing the exam. The paper was then passed on to the Xerox center.
During the investigation, police seized five mobile phones, a Xerox machine, and a computer from the accused. Meanwhile, a student who was debarred following the incident has expressed her distress, claiming she was not involved and requesting an opportunity to continue writing the exams. The police questioned the student and her father before allowing them to leave. (Maxim News)
