Hyderabad, July 7 (Maxim News): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday launched the Vana Mahotsavam 2025 initiative at PJTSAU (Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University), setting an ambitious target to plant 18 crore saplings across the state this year.
Echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to plant a sapling in the name of one’s mother, CM Revanth urged citizens to actively participate in this green campaign. In addition to the afforestation drive, CM Revanth Reddy reiterated his government’s strong commitment to women empowerment. Anticipating the implementation of 33% reservation for women in legislative bodies, he pledged to allot 60 Assembly tickets to women in the next elections.
