Telangana To Set Up Two New MSME Parks: Dy. CM Bhatti
Delhi/Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Maxim News): Telangana is taking another step forward in the development of the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) sector, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu explained to Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi that the state government has decided to set up two new MSME parks to promote small and medium enterprises in the state. The letter was presented to the Union Minister in Delhi on Wednesday morning by the Deputy CM along with Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, Social Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman, and MP Mallu Ravi. He said that the MSME sector will become a key area for comprehensive economic growth.
On behalf of the state government, we have proposed setting up MSME parks in Yendapalli and Remidicherla villages in Madhira mandal of Khammam district. Plans have been made to develop these parks on 85 acres and 60 acres, respectively, the Deputy CM explained to the Union Minister. Being close to National Highway 65 (Hyderabad-Vijayawada Corridor), their geographical location is strategic. They are connected to nearby towns, railway networks, and ports, he said. The development of these parks will provide industrial opportunities to the youth of the area, especially the youth belonging to the SC communities. The Deputy CM explained to the Union Minister that these parks will be developed in favor of various manufacturing sectors and are being set up with the expectation of providing at least 5,000 direct and 15,000 indirect employment opportunities.
The state government has written to the Centre requesting prior approval to send project proposals for financial assistance for the development of these parks under the MSME-CDP scheme.

One MSME Park In Every Assembly Constituency
One MSME Park in every assembly constituency in Telangana – State Government’s proposal. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu informed the Union Minister that they are expecting financial assistance from the Centre under the MSME-CDP scheme.
The Telangana State Government has formulated an ambitious plan to further strengthen the MSME sector. It aims to set up an MSME Park with small-scale flat factories in each Assembly constituency of the state (a total of 119), and these parks will provide a conducive industrial environment by providing the necessary infrastructure for small-scale industrial units to start and run their businesses, he told the Union Minister.
These MSME parks will have hostels, kitchens, toilets, testing centers, and other basic amenities. Services like business development, product innovation, and market strategy will be available. It was explained to the Union Minister that loan support will also be provided through the Streenidhi scheme to encourage women-oriented enterprises. Through this, women-led enterprises will be strengthened, and livelihood opportunities will expand.
Currently, the Telangana government is implementing 25 projects under the MSME-CDP scheme in collaboration with the Union Ministry of MSME. These include industrial parks, flatted factory complexes, and common facility centers (CFCs). These are playing a key role in strengthening the MSME ecosystem in the state.
In this context, Telangana State is seeking financial assistance through relevant schemes to set up MSME parks specifically for each assembly constituency with the support of the Union Ministry of MSME. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu expressed their belief before the Union Minister that through these beneficial programs, Telangana State will be a key partner towards India’s target of a $30 trillion economy.
