Hyderabad, March 22 (Maxim News): Over the past 15 months, Telangana has seen a surge in statue inaugurations and proposals, honoring the legacies of prominent leaders and cultural figures.

Statues Unveiled:

The Congress government has inaugurated several statues across the state, including:

  • Telangana Talli at the Secretariat
  • Rajiv Gandhi at the Secretariat & Uppal Stadium
  • Jaipal Reddy at Kalwakurthy
  • Gaddar at Tellapur
  • Ambedkar at Open University

Upcoming Statue Installations:

The government has also announced plans for several new statues, including:

  • Telangana Talli at all 33 District Collectorates
  • Tallest Gandhi Statue at Bapu Ghat
  • 100-ft NTR Statue at Outer Ring Road (ORR)
  • Manmohan Singh at Financial District
  • Ratan Tata at Adibatla
  • Rosaiah at Nature Cure Hospital

Additionally, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has proposed installing statues of prominent Telangana personalities along Tank Bund. A Cabinet sub-committee is expected to be formed to oversee this ambitious project.
