Telugu CM Greet People On Makara Sankranthi
Hyderabad/Amaravathi, Jan.13 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao today conveyed the auspicious Makara Sankranti greetings to the people of Telangana. The Chief Minister prayed to the goddesses to shower Their blessings to bring in light in the lives of the people and celebrate the festival with joy. The Chief Minister also desired that prosperity, brotherhood and happiness be prevailed at every household.
AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wished the very best to the Telugu people living worldwide on the occasion of the auspicious Makara Sankranti festival.
In a message, Jagan said, “The festival is a symbol of our culture, traditions, the love and affection we have for our villages and the high regard we show towards the farmers of the State. The government has been implementing several welfare schemes for the farmers and for the development of the rural areas over the past seven months and would continue to so in the future, he said and wished that all families celebrate the festival in a grand manner.
