Telugu NRI Dies While Waiting To Celebrate Eid With Family

Dubai/Hyderabad, Mar 29 (Maxim News): A Telugu NRI worker, who was hoping to celebrate Eid with his family back home in India, died, with his body reaching his family just before the festival.

Shaikh Mohammed Akbar 60, who was working as a driver in Abha city in Saudi Arabia, collapsed and died while being shifted to hospital on February 19 and his body was repatriated on Thursday

a native of Chandragiri in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, Akbar was planning to spend Ramzan with his family, his brother Sattar said.

Ibrahim Pattambi, a noted social worker in the area, helped the family to complete legal formalities to repatriate the body. According to Pattambi, the body of a Telangana NRI was also repatriated home at the same time.  (Maxim News)
