Telugu Student From AP Killed In US Supermarket Shooting 

New York/Internet/Hyderabad, June 23 (Maxim News): Dasari Gopikrishna, a 32-year-old student from Bapatla district in Andhra Pradesh succumbed to injuries sustained in a shooting in the USA.

Gopikrishna, who moved to the United States eight months ago for better livelihood opportunities, was working at the supermarket when the tragic incident occurred.  Gopikrishna, a native of Karlapalem Mandal was at the counter on Saturday afternoon when an assailant entered the store and opened fire.  Gopikrishna was critically injured and collapsed at the scene.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, he died on Sunday while receiving treatment.  The attack has left his family and the community of Yajalai in deep sorrow.  Gopikrishna leaves behind a wife and a son.  The violent incident has been captured on nearby CCTV cameras, which recorded the assailant entering the store and firing at Gopikrishna before fleeing the scene.  (Maxim News)
