Tension At Telangana Assembly: BRS Activists Arrested 

Hyderabad, Mar 17 (Maxim News): Tension prevailed at the Telangana Assembly. The police arrested BRS activists who tried to storm the Assembly. However, BRS activists staged a sit-in near the Assembly, opposing the ban on protests at Osmania University.

The leaders rushed towards the Assembly to voice their demands to the government. However, the police, who had anticipated the situation, made heavy security arrangements and detained the activists.  

The government has issued a GO prohibiting protests and staging dharnas at Osmania University.  Leaders of BRS and student unions have tried to storm the Assembly in protest against this G.O. The BRS leaders, expressing their dissatisfaction with this decision, tried to storm the assembly, raising slogans.   (Maxim News)
