Tension Grips Balapur Following Temple Desecration In Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Feb 24 (Maxim News): Tension prevailed on Balapur road after unidentified persons allegedly damaged idols at the Sri Sri Dev Mukha Anjaneya Swamy temple on Monday night.
According to the police, some persons had damaged the iron grill at the temple and after entering into the premises damaged the idols. The incident came to light in the morning when the local priest visited the temple and noticed it.
On being informed, the temple committee members alerted the police. The police, including the ACP Chandrayangutta S Sudhakar, reached the spot and inspected the place.
Following the incident, the police beefed up security in the Maqbool colony area where the temple is located. Leaders of Hindu organisations have reached the spot. (Maxim News)
