Tension rises in Afghanistan as citizens throws stones, shoes on Afghan Army
August 16: Afghanistan’s condition is worsening all the time. The Taliban have taken control of 25 of Afghanistan 34 provincial capitals, including places such as Kandahar, Jalalabad, Herat, and Mazar-e-Sharif. Following this, a few images emerged depicting the local people’ rage towards the Army.
Afghanistan people, very disappointed and outraged by the Afghan army’s failure, have been spotted hurling shoes and stones at the Afghan army. On Sunday, Taliban militants advanced farther in Afghanistan, seizing possession of the presidential palace in Kabul. Insurgents stormed the capital city while President Ashraf Ghani fled to Tajikistan to escape violence.
