Hyderabad, June 30: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) has announced that the second phase of admissions into first year Intermediate courses will continue until July 31 following the completion of the first phase on Tuesday.
The board directed all government and private junior colleges to admit students strictly based on their Grade Point Average (GPA) and subject-wise grade points obtained in the qualifying examination.
TG BIE issues admission guidelines
TG BIE instructed junior colleges to follow the prescribed admission norms while filling available seats during the second phase. The board said admissions should be carried out transparently in accordance with the academic guidelines.
According to the board, 62,562 students have secured admission into first year Intermediate courses in Government Junior Colleges during the first phase of the admission process.
The second phase is expected to provide another opportunity for students who could not complete admissions during the initial schedule. Eligible candidates have been advised to approach their preferred junior colleges and complete the admission process before the July 31 deadline.
The board is continuing its efforts to ensure smooth admissions across the State ahead of the commencement of the new academic session.
