The Annual Training Camp Of 7 Telangana Girls Battalion

Hyderabad, Oct.3 (Maxim News): Annual Training Camp in the NCC is the culmination of training for the cadets wherein they undergo Physical Training, Yoga, Self Defence Training, Drill Practice, Firing, Personality Development, Cultural Events. Many guest lectures are also conducted with an aim to imbibe knowledge and open the horizon of cadet’s about certain important issues. Cadets also participate in various games and sports competitions. Many cultural events are also conducted wherein cadets showcase their talent in solo and group events.

The Annual Training Camp of 7 Telangana Girls Battalion part of NCC Group Hyderabad was held from 01 to 10 October 2023 at Bison Training Ground, Secunderabad.  Certain important lecture-cum-demonstrations like ‘Negative impact of Artificial Intelligence on Young Minds’ by Miss Dr. Chinmai, ‘Mindfulness’ by Miss Roma from ISKON, ‘Traffic Control Awareness Programme’ by Hyderabad Traffic Police, ‘Fire Fighting Techniques’ by Trimulgherry Fire Station, ‘Cyber Crime Programme’ by Society for Cyberabad Security Council, Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.  All the cadets and staff attending the Camp were immensely benefitted from above guest lectures.

Col Anil Kumar, Group Commander visited the Annual Training Camp and interacted with the cadets and motivated them and urged them to acquire skill sets which will stand in good stead in their future.  He also witnessed a Cultural Programme presented by the cadets.  Few NCC Alumni’s of NCC Group Hyderabad were also presented to share the experiences of their NCC days.  Towards the end prize distribution was done to motivate the outstanding cadets and the programme culminated with NCC Song.
