Theenmar Mallana Leading In 2nd Round Of Graduate MLC Bypoll

Hyderabad, June 6 (Maxim News): The second round of counting of MLC votes of Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates has been completed. Currently, the third round of counting is going on. Congress candidate Theenmar Mallanna, who was leading by 7,670 votes in the first round, continued to lead in the second round as well.

After two rounds, Congress candidate Theenmar Mallanna was leading by 14,672 votes. He got 34,575 votes in this round. BRS candidate Rakesh Reddy got 27,573 votes and BJP candidate Premender Reddy got 12,841 votes. Independent candidate Ashok got 11,018 votes in the second round.

The counting process started at 8 am on Wednesday in the warehouses of Bhupalpally Warehouses in Nalgonda. A total of 3.36 lakh ballot papers cast in 605 polling centers were handled at the rate of 25 each. A total of 96 tables were arranged in four rooms with 24 tables in each hall.

BRS candidate Palla Rajeshwar Reddy won the election held in March 2021 for this graduate MLC constituency. He resigned as MLA from Jangaon in last year’s assembly elections. The by-election was held. (Maxim News)
