Theft Cars Selling Gang Nabbed, 5 Arrested in Hyderabad

Theft Cars Selling | Hyderabad, Feb 22 (Maxim News): The Commissioner’s Task Force North Zone Team along with Police Chilkaguda has apprehended six accused persons who were selling “theft cars” by changing their identification, removing registration, engine, and chassis numbers with the intention to disappear evidence that they have duped innocent customers.

The properties seized consist of 18 cars all worth Rs. 2,45,000 (Innova Crysta 3 cars, Fortuner 1 car, Brezza 6 cars, Balano 3, Swift Dzire 2, Swift 2, and Creta 1. The accused who have been apprehended are

Abdul Raheem Khan s/o Mohd Ibrahim Khan, age 43 years occ: Electrician r/o.H.No. 1-7-843/A, Lane Opp: Post Office, Zamisthanpur, Hyderabad.

Shaik Javeed s/ o. Shaik Mahmood (late), age: 49 years, Occ: Auto Driver r/o.H.No. 11-3-284, Mahmoodguda, Warisguda, Secunderabad.

Varikuppala Dashrath s/o.V.Chandraiah, age: 35 years, Occ: Car second Sales, r/o.Plot No. 10, Vasavinagar Turkyamzal, R.R District.

Shanawaz Ali Khan s/ o. Mubarak Ali Khan, age: 30 years, Occ: Car Driver r/o.H. No. 1-6-718/1, Dayara Market, Musheerabad, Hyderabad.

Bappa Gosh (Absconding)

Kodimalla Paripurna Chary @ Pappi s/ o Narayana Chary, age; 36 yrs, caste; Vadla, Occ; Cars Business, R/o Venkateshwara Colony, Hasthinapuram, B.N Reddy Nagar, Hyderabad (Absconding); and Kaleem (Absconding).

According to Dy. Commissioner of Police, East zone, Hyderabad city, Sunil Dutt, On 17-02-2023 a complaint was registered at Chilkalguda Police Station against Raheem Khan and Bappa Gosh in Cr.No. 132/2023 U/ sec.420, 406 IPC.

Theft Cars Selling – Commissioner’s Task Force

While the investigation was going on Commissioner’s Task Force North Zone made industrious efforts and apprehended the accused Abdul Raheem Khan. He led us to another accused and 18 cars have been recovered from their possession. On verification, it is found that these vehicles are stolen from Delhi and UP and 14 cases are registered in Delhi & UP.

The absconding accused Bappa Gosh is a native of Kolkata, he commits costly car Thefts from Delhi and surrounding states, removes original number plates, and changes its Engine and chassis numbers.

After manipulating of stolen cars he fixes fake number plates, makes R.C. of Maharashtra/ West Bengal States, and contacts car dealers of different states. The accused Raheem Khan who is doing car dealings contacted Bappa Gosh through his friend Shanawaz Ali Khan’s know person Kaleem. Raheem Khan purchased (02) Cars and Shanawaz Ali Khan purchased (01) cars from Bappa Gosh. The accused Shaik Javeed knew about cars available at cheaper rates in Kolkata through Rahmeem Khan and also purchased cars from Bappa Gosh.

Theft Cars Selling – Car Purchaser

The accused Varikuppala Dashrath contacted one Kodimalla Paripurna Chary @ Pappi who has earlier made car deals with Bappa Gosh and was involved in Cr. No.27/2022 U/sec. 420, 468, 471, 379, 201, 411г/w 34 IPC of Miryalguda Rural PS. 3

He gave the contacts of Bappa Gosh to Dashrath, on Dashrath contacted Bappa Gosh and purchased cars from him. In the same way, accused Thakur Shailender Singh got acquainted with Bappa Gosh and purchased Cars from Bappa Gosh.
