Those Who Are Not Named In The First Phase Of Lottery Need Not To Worry: Mayor

Hyderabad, September 02: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi said that those who were not named in the first phase of the lottery of 2 BHK Dignity houses built for the poor under GHMC should not worry. City Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi along with Uppal Legislative Members Bheti Subhash Reddy and Deputy Mayor Srilata Shobhan Reddy handed over the degree certificate to 500 beneficiaries in Sriram Nagar Colony of Uppal Constituency on Saturday.

On this occasion, the Mayor said… In the distribution of the first installment of Dignity double bedroom houses, those who did not get a house in the first installment should not be worried that they will be distributed in 6 installments at the rate of 12,000 each. They said that they will distribute another installment in 15 days. He said that with the aim of helping the poor to live with self-respect, KCR has built double bedroom dignity houses like no other in the country without sparing any expense. After receiving the title deeds, the housing department will hand over the keys to the house in about two weeks, he said.

756 houses in Sriram Nagar were distributed to 500 beneficiaries of Uppal constituency. He said that 1 lakh houses have been taken up under the GHMC, so far 69 thousand houses are ready for distribution, 11,700 houses have been distributed in the first phase and the remaining 57 thousand will be distributed to the deserving poor soon. The Mayor asked that no one should believe the false propaganda rumors and bless the Chief Minister for fulfilling the dream of owning a home for the deserving poor.

Uppal Legislator Bheti Subhash Reddy said… No Chief Minister in the country has built double room houses for the poor, because he is partial to the poor, he is implementing all kinds of welfare schemes for everyone, spending about Rs. 7 thousand crores under the GHMC to provide free houses for the needy to live with dignity. He said that it is being distributed.

Deputy Mayor Srilata Shobhan Reddy said… those who did not come home in the first phase should not worry. He said that the state government has set an example for many states in the country by implementing pensions, Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes for the welfare of the poor.
