Three Months Advance Ration At Once In June Due To Heavy Rains
Hyderabad, May 25 (Maxim News): The state government has decided to implement the central government’s orders to provide three months’ advance ration to the poor from June 1 in line with the meteorological Department’s advice that there is a possibility of heavy rains and floods during the monsoon season.
The government has issued orders to make the quota of fine rice for the months of June, July and August available in ration shops.

Telangana Civil Supplies Commissioner DS Chauhan issued orders to this effect. He directed the district collectors, tehsildars and DTSs to make appropriate arrangements to complete the distribution of three months’ ration within June 1 to 30 as per the central government’s instructions.
This time, the process of transferring the rice allocation required for the three-month period to MLS points through Stage-1 godowns has almost been completed, and Chauhan clarified that the government’s goal is to complete the distribution to consumers within June 1 to 30. (Maxim News)
