TiE Young Entrepreneurs Grand Finals held

Hyderabad: In a closely fought TiE Young Entrepreneurs Finals, team Beta emerged  as the Winners of the TYE Business plan competition 2023

The Team Beta members were: Lasya Pericherla (Prerana Waldorf School); Palash Salla (Oakridge International School); Ananya Tirumala (Oakridge International School); Varun Ponnala (Oakridge International School)

The idea they proposed was using AI to help admission officers in higher education institutions to address the problem of manual admissions into universities that usually results in inefficiency and inaccuracy. 

Team Gamma was declared the People’s choice award winner.  The team Gamma members were  Nikita Shivakumar (Prerana Waldorf School); Sujith Chennupati (Oakridge International); Veeren Chowdary Boppana (Oakridge International). 

Their plan was about a personalized meal delivery service that involves creating customized meal plans for individuals based on their dietary needs and preferences.

The Winners will be nominated for the TYE Global Competition.

It was the 14th edition of TiE Young Entrepreneurs TYE. Four groups made up of 14 students from top schools across the city, pitched their innovative solutions at the TYE Finale on Saturday night at Club Botanica at Gachibowli. 

Following a rigorous curriculum on entrepreneurship development. The esteemed panel of judges declared Team Beta as the winner for their impressive business plan, Admit AI, as they call it. Meanwhile, Team Gamma won the People’s Choice Award, earning the most votes from the audience.

During the three-month program, the participants had the opportunity to interact with experienced entrepreneurs and received guidance. 

The Vice President of the TiE Hyderabad chapter Mr. Srini Chandupatla said, the TYE program is built with the objective of exposing high school students to the key aspects of entrepreneurship 

Prof. Satya Kiran, representative of Ethames, the Program partner of TYE 2023 said an entrepreneur should develop curiosity. 

TiE Hyderabad’s TYE program is built to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs. 

TYE is designed to teach high school students entrepreneurship and leadership skills.
