TPCC Accuses BJP Of Indulging In ‘Cheap Politics’—Delhi Riots

Hyderabad, Feb.28 (Maxim News): TPCC spokesperson G Niranjan came down heavily on rival BJP for indulging in cheap politics. He alleged that the saffron party leaders were trying to divert the attention of the people of the country from Delhi communal riots by targeting their party president Sonia Gandhi.

Addressing media persons, he said that it was a symbol of the cheap politics of the BJP to blame that their party leader Sonia Gandhi made provocative statements. He asked if it was not the escapist mentality of the BJP, which has transferred High court Judge Justice Muralidhar for ordering the registration of an FIR against the BJP leaders who made provocative statements. He asked the Central government as to why it didn’t take any action against its own minister Anurag Thakur for giving the call of Goli maro.

Niranjan said that the International human rights commission also faulted the Delhi riots. He said that the BJP leaders didn’t learn any lesson even after the death of 39 people in Delhi. He said that union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad was still stating that they would not go back on the implementation of the CAA. (Maxim News)
